Recently my boyfriend and I went to a wedding and stayed in the Westin Cadillac Hotel.

We decided that we were going to grab breakfast in the morning which I was really happy about and we decided on eating some food from The Hudson Cafe.

I was super excited about this because I had the most delicious omelette I’ve ever had at The Hudson Cafe years ago and I couldn’t wait to try their food again.

Today I’m going to share with you guys my food recommendation on what to get when you order from The Hudson Cafe.

I tried The Hudson Cafe in Detroit, MI | Review – Michigan

So in my opinion The Hudson Cafe is pretty much a brunch type of place.

It’s a great place to go to on a date, with friends, or with family.

To me personally, this restaurant is well know for their delicious breakfast items.

We decided to do an order pickup through their website and you can also order pickup via Door Dash or Uber Eats along with getting it delivered if you’re in the downtown area.

I decided to get the Triple Triple omelete which came with 3 meats (bacon, ham, & sausage) and 3 cheeses (cheddar, swiss, jack).

You can add in different extras, but at the time of ordering the food each extra was around either a $1 or $2 each.

Also when you order an omelete you get your choice of house potatoes or cheesy grits or fresh fruit and toast or buttermilk pancake.

I chose the toast with the house potatoes.

Pickup time was pretty quick. I believe the food was ready within 45 minutes.

My boyfriend and one of our friends ended up going to pick it up.

The food was piping hot!

The Omelete

When I tell you guys… their omeletes are absolutely amazing.

They taste so good!

If you’re ever in downtown Detroit for breakfast or you want to get some brunch, make a reservation and head there to get yourself and omelete.

You won’t regret it.

I know I felt delighted and truly happy after I ate mine.

Keep in mind… I ate mine in segments because I was full after eating just half of it since they’re pretty big omeletes.

The Sides

The toasts was decent.

I mean you can’t really go wrong with toast.

I highly recommend their house potatoes.

They are so good!

Overall do I recommend The Hudson Cafe?

So I haven’t physically ate in a Hudson Cafe since between like 2011ish to 2013ish.

I just recall the wait time to be long on the weekends, but if you want to order food and pick it up… I highly recommend it.

The food will be piping hot and delicious!
