I am an Amazon Affiliate. This post contains affiliate links. I will be paid a small percentage of payment from the purchase you buy. See Disclaimer here.

Whether you want to make money as a side hustle or full time on Youtube, you have to make a strategy.

Today I’m going to share with you guys the realistic ways to make money on Youtube where you’ll see actual results overtime.

6 Realistic Ways on How to Make Money on Youtube | Youtube Tips

Affiliate marketing

Day one you need to be focusing on affiliate links.

In affiliate marketing you pretty much work with either a brand or an affiliate marketing company.

You will either find or create a link for a product you plan on showcasing on a Youtube video.

Then you will post the link in the description box.

If someone makes a purchase through the link within a certain amount of time of clicking on that specific link, you will receive a percentage on whatever they purchased.

This is honestly my favorite way to make money because I started using affiliate links the first month of being a Youtuber.

When you apply to affiliate companies, I recommend showcasing a social media that has the biggest following for you which is how you’ll get accepted.

For example this helps if you want to become an Amazon Affiliate or Magiclinks affiliate.

Digital Products

Whether you create an ebook, course, or downloadable product that can be used… digital products can bring in money consistently.

I’ve seen a lot of Youtubers I follow that have created ebooks and courses.

This is a great set it and forget option to be honest.

You only have to make something one time and people may buy it if you have Youtube videos that connect to it or if you shoutout it out in all of your videos with a link to it in the description box of your Youtube videos.

I recommend using Gumroad to sell digital products.

Physical Products

If you can make something or resale, open an Etsy store or eBay to create sales.

I have seen people make videos about stuff they were selling or getting rid of like “Cleaning out my Closet” videos and then having a link to where they could be bought.

I have seen people sell press on nails, scarves, candles, items in their closet, and more.

Create exclusive content behind a paywall.

I have seen Youtubers grow their community and then create Patreon accounts or Onlyfan accounts too.

They would share or create exclusive content that you either can’t see elsewhere or are seen in advance before released to the public.

This is a way for your true community to support you.

Merch

I always hear about people creating merch, but I’m not exactly sure about what the numbers are converting to as far as sales.

I feel like you’d have to have certain sayings or quotes that you say on the regular or super stylish designs that are universal for people to wear in everyday life.

You could sell hoodies, graphic tees, notebooks, tote bags, masks, pins, and more.

I recommend using Redbubble or Teepublic to create merch.

Google Adsense

This is the main way Youtubers focus on making money, but if I’m being honest.. it’s the last thing I’d think about.

Google Adsense requires 1000 subscribers and a consistent 4000 watch hours over the course of 12 months.

Also you have to be either talking about a specific topic or pulling in decent watch time to consistently make some good money from Adsense on Youtube.
