While doing some virtual window shopping on Etsy, I realized that they offer payments through Klarna.
With Christmas being right around the corner, I decided to try it out and today I wanted to share with you guys my experience using Klarna by buying on Etsy.
I went shopping on Etsy by using Klarna! | Online Shopping
Now Klarna is kind of like credit. You have a purchase over $50 and you pay the purchase off in 4 payments over the course of 6 weeks.
This was my first time using Klarna.
So I found a tea set that I wanted to buy my boyfriend for Christmas.
It was this gorgeous black and gold tea set.
This set comes in other colors too.
I’ve seen this same tea set on Amazon and I’m not sure if it’s the same seller, but I decided to support an Etsy seller and buy it from there.
It was priced at $45.99.
Now in order to use Klarna you have to have a $50 minimum purchase.
So I decided to buy some reusable straws that were priced at $11.14.
Now again, I could have purchased this on Amazon… but I wanted to support an Etsy seller instead.
Buying through Klarna was very simple.
You choose it as your method of payment.
You setup a quick account and the purchase goes through easy.
You have to pay the first payment at the time of purchase so I paid $14.97.
Now every other week I have to pay the same amount until the 6th week where the payment is paid off.
I checked my account and it looks like I can spend up to $500 using Klarna which is pretty cool considering they didn’t do any credit checks, but the payments are automatic so you have to remember that you’ll be paying consistently every other week based on the time of purchase.
Keep it in mind.. don’t buy something with Klarna if you can’t afford to pay it off bi-weekly.
So that’s my experience with shopping on Etsy using Klarna.

Would you use Klarna or have you used it?
