There have been so many points in life where I have wanted to do something more or figure out what would be the best course of action when it came to having a fulfilling career that actually made me more money.

I know a lot of you have been there or are there right now where you may feel like your job doesn’t value you or you may feel as though you’re underpaid.

It’s unfortunate, but that’s just the way things happen sometimes.

Today I’m going to share with you guys one of the best career books to read if you’re in this period of career transition within your life.

The book is called Next Move, Best Move: Transitioning Into a Career You’ll Love by Kimberly B Cummings.

I Feel Undervalued at Work – The Must Read Career Book

This book is an amazing guide towards professional and personal growth.

This is the first business / career book I’ve read in awhile that actually resonated with me.

I love the way that it expands on realizing how potential and your actual value.

I know I personally have this issue where I settle a lot and I allow things to slide professionally where I should be getting paid more for something, but I don’t try to go for it or even address the issue.

Sometimes I settle for less which isn’t good to me and it’s very belittling at times too when you realize all of the work you’re putting into something, but the amount you make doesn’t equate to it or the job where you work may try to make you feel like you’re supposed to go above and beyond even though you’re not being paid for your value.

This books breaks down assessing what you bring to the table and it assesses your assets as well as your overall potential.

It goes into detail about setting goals and deciding on where you want to be in life and what type of life you want to live professionally.

Another thing that I truly love about this book is how it breaks down the importance of speaking up for yourself and asking for what you want.

You know that saying, “Closed mouths don’t get fed.”

A lot of times you may not reach your goals because you don’t speak on them or you don’t bring up how you’d like more and want more for yourself to people in power.

Next Move, Best Move shows you how to do just that.

So if you’re at a point in your life where you want more out of your career.. whether you want to move up in a company, get paid more, or feel like you need to move to another company altogether because they undervalue you… Then Next Move, Best Move: Transitioning Into a Career You’ll Love is the book for you to read!

Head on over to Amazon, Target, or Barnes & Noble to buy this book and change your life!
