We went camping this past weekend and it was freaking amazing.
Of course one of the things that you need for camping is a tent and we bought the Core 9 person instant cabin tent from Amazon.
Today I’m going to share with you guys our experience of camping in this tent.
Camping in the Core 9 person Instant Cabin Tent – review | Amazon Find
It’s super easy to pitch this tent.
It took probably 5 minutes to setup the tent. The instructions were simple to understand and the tent was pretty much put together already where all you had to do was unfold it.
It comes with a decent amount of stakes that help secure the tent into the ground.
We loved that it came with a rainfly.
This was great because there was a bit of drizzle during the night and during the morning.
The tent did a great job at keeping the bugs out.
I saw huge spiders, mosquitos, ants, and other bugs.. but they stayed on the outside of the tent which was great since I’m not a fan of bugs.
I want to say the tent had 2 doors and multiple windows.
I loved that we could look outside if we wanted and that we had options for ways to enter as well as to come into the tent.
The tent had a room divider.
We didn’t use it, but it did come with a divider in the event that someone else shared the tent with my boyfriend and I.
It had pockets for things.
If you wanted the tent to be a bit neat and organized, there were little pockets available for you to keep your stuff inside like your phone or earphones.
It could fit 2 mattresses.
The tent was pretty spacious where you could fit more than 1 mattress inside of it.
We had a Queen size air mattress that we slept on inside of the tent and we honestly could have brought a King size air mattress.
The cons of the tent
So there was only one issue we had and it was that for some reason some of the stakes came out.
It could be our error within how we placed them in the ground, but when it was time for us to leave and put the tent up.. some of them were missing.
We can only assume that they were still stuck in the ground with the grass concealing them.
Overall is the Core 9 person instant cabin tent worth the purchase?
It definitely is. It was the ideal tent to have on this trip. It did it’s job of protecting us from rain and bugs.
I know we definitely plan on going camping again for sure after using this tent.
