I entered a giveaway a few months ago for the My French Country Home subscription box.

I’ve seen quite a few reviews of this subscription box and I knew that I definitely wanted to at least try to win one.

I entered a giveaway I saw to receive the May subscription box and to my surprise, I won!

So the subscription box is basically a French lifestyle box.

I want to say that everything in it is from a brand in France or something related to the French lifestyle.

How long did My French Country Home take to ship?

So they shipped through DHL which I love. I am a huge fan of international packages being shipped through DHL because the shipping is always pretty fast in comparison to other shipping companies.

There was an issue with my giveaway box where the adhesive wasn’t sticking so I contacted My French Country Home.

They informed me of the problem and shipped out the box Thursday. I ended up receiving the box Monday which is pretty quick.

What was in the My French Country Home subscription box for May?

They gave me a booklette that shows everything that is in the box.

teacup

Firstly, in every box there is a teacup.

I like the idea of having a teacup in every box. You could start a teacup collection if you stay subscribed to the box.

watercolor print

I received a watercolor print by Michel Charrier.

I actually love the artwork and I’ll definitely frame it so I can hang it up somewhere in the house.

They have some watercolor prints for sale that you can buy on their website too. I saw one of their watercolor prints on sale for $20.

face serum

I received a facial serum from Mademoiselle Saint Germain. It’s made with all natural ingredients which is pretty cool.

It looks expensive.

I Google’d the product. It was around $38 on one website and 45 pounds ($63) on the brand’s actual site.

floral cushion case

I received a gorgeous floral cushion case.

It’s very thick. It says in the booklette that it’s great for a cushion on your favorite garden chair. It can go on a rectangular pillow.

imai brooch

A gorgeous brooch from the brand IMAI by Julie Borgeaud was one of my favorite things in this box.

I found the brooch and it was priced at 95 pounds which is $132.67.

I’m a huge fan of brooches so I absolutely loved this!

white headband

There was a white headband from the brand Malou Marius.

I found the headband and it was 25 pounds ($34.91).

wool socks

These wool socks from Bleuforet is perfect for the Fall and Winter time.

I’ve never owned wool socks before so that was pretty cool.

The socks were between 12-20 pounds ($16.76-$27.93).

kusmi tea

There were 3 different teas from Kusmi Tea.

I received Earl Grey, English Breakfast, & Green Tea with Rose.

On the Kusmi Tea website they have an assortment of different tea sampler packages.

marlette madeleines

They included a kit by Marlette for making madeleines as a ‘Thank You’ gift for their Quarterly & Yearly subscribers.

Soo I’ve never made Madeleines before, but I am looking forward to making them.

It’s unfortunate though because the instructions on the package are in French, but I’m definitely going to be tapping into my 4th & 11th grade French classes where I learned French.

I’m also just going to be using Google translate so I can figure out these cooking instructions.

This madeleine kit priced at 4,40 pounds which is $6.14.

They also gave me a My French Country Home magazine.

Overall I really liked this box.

I can actually use everything in it which is rare for me when it comes to subscription boxes. I almost never receive a subscription box where there is a practical use for everything.

I normally end up giving something away, but this was definitely worth the price.

You can subscribe to the quarterly box for $275 or the yearly box (4 boxes delivered quarterly) for $980.

They also sell specialty boxes too that you can order.

If you’re interested in subscribing, head on over to their website today!

So thanks for checking out this My French Country Home subscription box.
