Mini Kroger Haul for a Date Night at Home | Board Games & Chocolates

board game night

I was so excited when my boyfriend surpised me Valentine’s Day with some fun at home date night ideas for us to do together since we pretty much have mostly board games that require 4 or more people. I love how thoughtful he was about picking things that he knew I’d actually like to do with him.

So today I figure I would share with you guys this mini haul that he picked up from shopping at Kroger.

Date Night

Milk Chocolate Pecan Delights – Russell Stover

He bought these pecan turtles from Russell Stovers. I’m a huge fan of chocolate turtles. They remind me of the turtles in a can that my mom used to buy from the fundraisers I would have in elementary school. These taste absolutely amazing!

2 player board game

Scrabble – Hasbro

Scrabble is one of my all time favorite board games to play. I haven’t played the actual board game in so long so I was super excited that he picked this up. The closest thing I’ve had to playing Scrabble since I was a kid was Words with Friends so I definitely plan on playing this with him a lot.

Hasbro Game

Jenga – Hasbro

Jenga is one of those games that involves strategy. I’m not going to lie to you guys, I definitely feel like he is going to beat me a lot in this game. However I also know that I’m going to have a great time playing this with him. At some point, I want to buy one of those huge jenga sets. I’ve always wanted one of those.

So I hope you guys enjoyed this mini Kroger haul. I love whenever there are cool finds at Kroger because I know I’ll for sure recommend it to you guys! So visit your local Kroger for these 2 player games and chocolates today!
