I have been using Arm and Hammer detergent for about a year now. One of the reasons why I started buying this brand of detergent was because I was able to get it on sale at CVS. I’ve noticed that CVS will put it on sale from time to time (I want to say every month). I also want to say that they sometimes give Extracare Bucks back on certain Arm & Hammer detergent purchases as well. So I decided to buy it and try it out to save some money. Today I figured I would share with you guys my review of Arm and Hammer detergent if you were interested in buying it and using it to wash your clothes.
Arm and Hammer detergent review
Arm and Hammer detergent usually retails between $2.50-10 depending on the size you buy.
I have tried a few of the Arm and Hammer detergent scents. However most of the time I’ll just buy whatever is available. I’ve noticed that a lot of times the various scents are bought up and there are only a couple left.
The Arm and Hammer detergent Clean Scentsations in the scent Tropical Paradise is the one I normally see in stores. It just has a fresh scent. It doesn’t really smell tropical to me though.
The scent honestly kind of reminds me of the detergent that my great grandmother used when I was a child. I remember her clothing smelling similar to it.
Usually one bottle of the 57 loads (100.5 FL OZ) will last my boyfriend and I maybe 3 months. However do keep in mind that I work from home so I don’t wash my going out clothes as much, especially with everything going on right now.
The Arm and Hammer detergent does a decent job of removing any stains. I’ve gotten all types of sauce (barbecue, hot sauce, Szechaun sauce, etc.) on our comforters and random blankets. It always removed the stains as well as the scent of the food I dropped.
Update: I just recently purchased Arm & Hammer Plus Oxi Clean with Odor Blasters.
I am absolutely in love with this Arm and Hammer detergent. It smells lovely. This is my favorite out of all of the Arm and Hammer detergents I have tried in the past. I usually get the 70 loads one.
Would I recommend Arm and Hammer detergent?
If you’re looking for an affordable detergent that’s usually on sale, I would say go for it and buy it. It’s worth the purchase. I haven’t strayed away from buying anything other than Arm and Hammer in the past year so I definitely recommend it!
You can buy Arm & Hammer detergent practically anywhere from CVS to Walmart to Target to Rite Aid.
So thank you guys for checking out my Arm and Hammer detergent review.
