Influenster Voxbox ft. Mizani Textures hair products for natural hair | Beauty

Influenster Voxbox

I received these products to try for free. All opinions are my own.

I am a huge fan of Influenster. They’ve been sending me free products to try for the past 8 years. I was really excited when I found out that I was going to be receiving hair products from Mizani. This line is apparently for women who have natural hair. So I am assuming that the target consumer is black women. These products are sold at Sephora and JC Penney which is pretty cool. I figured I would share with you guys what I received so let’s jump into it.

Update: I received this Influenster Voxbox in March and I have tried all of these products. I will be posting reviews of each item here.

Mizani Product

Mizani Perfect Coil Gel

I am assuming that this gel is supposed to be great for defining curls. The directions say to apply it to wet hair and to let it air dry. I’m going to be honest, I already know that my hair will not respond well to these directions because from past experiences of using gel… unless I am planning on setting my hair without moving it at all.. It’s not a great idea to let it air dry if I don’t plan on trying to change it later (which happens a lot). I will probably use this gel on a roller set for tight curls or I’ll use it on my edges.

Mizani Cream

Mizani 25 Miracle Cream / 25 Benefit Leave-In

I’m pretty excited to try this. I feel like this will be great for just moisturizing my hair for braid outs and twist outs or at least that’s what I plan on using them for. I’ve already opened this and smelled it. I love the scent of this cream.

Mizani Oil

Mizani 25 Miracle Nourishing Oil

This also smells lovely! It says that it is for all hair types. I’ll probably end up using this when I’m untwisting and unbraiding my hairstyles.

Oh and it says I can use this on my skin also to make my skin feel soft which is pretty cool. I don’t think I’ve ever came across a product that could be used on both unless it was a regular product like almond oil or coconut oil.

I’ll be giving you guys my full in depth review of these items soon so be on the look out for it.
