I watched Tokyo Ghoul for the first time in 2013 and I fell in love with how amazing this show was. I recently decided to binge watch the series again and I figured I would share with you guys why I enjoy it.
3 Reasons why I love Tokyo Ghoul – Review | Hulu Anime
The story follows a young man who ends up being turned into a ghoul. It follows his journey as he adapts as well as transforms his overall self in order to survive his unique ghoul life.
There are 3 seasons of Tokyo Ghoul on Hulu that are subbed and dubbed.
Just a heads up, the show has a lot of gore and blood moments.
The story line is intriguing and follows a decent pace.
I would have to say that this is an anime that doesn’t go too fast or too slow as far as development. You learn a lot about not only the main character, but the different characters that interact with the main character. It’s also interesting to see the backstories of the different people within this anime.
The fight scenes are epic.
One of the reasons why I started watching Tokyo Ghoul was because I saw a specific fight scene from the show on Facebook when it was shared in an anime group that I am in. I am a sucker for a bomb fight scene. I was instantly hooked, but at the same time I was kind of bitter that I saw a spoiler so soon before I actually watched the actual series.
There are so many characters I want to cosplay.
I know for sure I am going to cosplay Ken Kaneki, Touka, and Itori. I also want to cosplay the twins Nashiro and Kurona.
Overall, I recommend this anime if you’re looking for an action packed series with an amazing story and epic fight scenes. So thanks got reading my Tokyo Ghoul review.
