Shaving hair can be a pet peeve sometimes. It requires some effort and time. I personally am not a person that likes to shave consistently because it does take a lot of energy that I don’t have because I am a lazy individual. However, can it be possible to remove the hair without the hassle? Today I figured I would share with you guys my years of experience as well as tips with using Nair hair removal lotion. I will be answering whether Nair hair removal lotion works and if it’s worth buying. So let’s jump into it!

This hair removal lotion is pretty inexpensive. You can buy it from Walmart for $5 or even in a 3 pack set from Amazon. Sometimes it’s on sale on Amazon or even at CVS from time to time. You just have to be on the lookout for it. I usually buy it from CVS personally.

I decided to grow my armpit hair out to use the hair removal lotion on (apart from me just being lazy and not feeling like shaving).

On the bottle, it says that you apply the lotion to the hair that you want to be removed. You don’t rub it in like lotion. You simply apply a thin layer of it on top of the hair and you wait for it to take effect. The Nair hair removal lotion can be left on for a minimum of 3 minutes and a maximum of 10 minutes. I personally like to leave the lotion on for about 5-6 minutes. Sometimes I’ll leave it on for 4 minutes, but 5-6 is the sweet spot in my opinion. While it sits, I wash my hands to remove the rest of the lotion off and I’ll listen to one or two songs all the way through (as long as it equates to at the most 6 minutes for me). I’ve never left the lotion on for longer than 7 minutes before.

It doesn’t burn when you apply it or while it’s on the skin. I have fairly sensitive skin so I was surprised that it didn’t really bother me.

I wet a washcloth with warm water and twisted out the excess water. Then I wiped the lotion off. When I wiped the lotion off, the hair came off along with it. After that, I usually tend to wash the residue off with soap just to make sure that there isn’t any leftover lotion stuck on my skin as well as to wipe off any loose hairs.

One thing I will say that is a con for me is that something within the lotion does cause a certain smell when it is in use. So be aware that there will be a bad smell when you apply this to the hair you want removed.

So does Nair hair removal lotion work?

It does! It removes hair with ease. I have been using Nair Hair removal lotion for about 7 years and it is one of my favorite beauty products.

The before and after is pretty dramatic. The hair completely wiped off without any struggle. It’s really easy to use.

Can you use Nair hair removal lotion on sensitive skin?

Yes, you can. I would recommend using the one with cocoa butter and Vitamin E. I have used the plain one which was fine, but I prefer the lotion with the cocoa butter and Vitamin E the most.

Where can you use Nair hair removal lotion?

I would recommend using it on your leg hair, arm hair, stomach hair, and armpit hair. I have tried using it on my bikini area before and it did remove the hair, but I MADE SURE to make sure that I didn’t get any of the cream on my sensitive lady parts. I will say it would probably be best to buy a hair removal cream specifically for the bikini line area or to use a razor.
