I bought an amazing electric shaver for women! – Amazon Review

electric shaver for women

I bought the Philips SatinShave Essential Women’s Electric Shaver for Legs.

I paid around $13 for this electric razor on Amazon. It’s white and pink. It’s cordless which I love! It uses 2 AA batteries and it comes with they come with the razor. In the future, you’ll have to buy more to replace them. I have yet to replace my batteries. However I didn’t use this shaver every month. I used it maybe every 3-4 months (because I can be extremely lazy) which is probably why the batteries haven’t needed to be replaced yet.

It has a push up / push down button that turns it on and off.

The razor itself is double sided. You could use either end to remove hair depending on the curves of the body part you want to shave.

The back of the electric razor is pretty simple.

How do I use the electric shaver?

I use this shaver not only on my legs, but also my arms and even my bikini area. It does a great job of shaving areas quickly without taking an extreme amount of time. Usually it takes me about 5 minutes to do both my arms and legs. It takes about 10 minutes to do my bikini area if I want to get a close up shave and I want to be very careful to not nick myself.

Have I used it in water?

So I haven’t actually used it in the shower, but when I clean it.. it does get pretty wet.

How do I clean the electric shaver?

I usually clean the electric shaver with my fingers with dish soap and water. Then I lay it with the razor facing downward on a towel to let it dry.

Pros

  • Easy to use on legs, arms, and bikini area (to a degree)
  • Affordable, can purchase it on Amazon for under $15
  • Cordless
  • Easy to clean

Cons

  • Uses AA batteries which means you have to go to the store to buy more batteries if you need to replace them.
  • Could come in different colors for diversity if you don’t like pink
  • Kind of loud, but it’s to be expected from an electric razor.

Overall, I would recommend this electric shaver for women. It’s effective and easy to use. This is one of the best electric razors for women that I’ve ever used. So if you’re in the market for a lady shaver then buy this one.
