I found a Home Depot gift card that I won a few years ago from a giveaway and I decided to finally use it. I figured I would share with you guys my experience of the Home Depot in store pick up. So check out my Home Depot review.
Home Depot In Store pick up review
So I bought 4 items. I want to say that they were all on sale at the time of purchase. I decided to buy a plastic shelving unit, a bathroom hutch, and 2 plastic container boxes. Instead of having the items shipped to my home, I decided to go ahead and have the items shipped to the nearest Home Depot within 5 miles of where I lived. The container boxes were in stock, but the other items were not so I ended up having to wait for them to be shipped to the store.
I opted in for Home Depot to send me text messages when my items were available and ready for pick up. I decided to wait until all of my items were at the store to pick them up so I wouldn’t have to make multiple trips.
I made my Home Depot order online on December 3rd. They emailed me that part of my order was available (container box) the next day while also emailing me that my other items had just been shipped out to the store I chose.
On December 11th, I received another email saying that my shelving unit had been delivered to the store.
On December 14th, I received another email saying that the bathroom hutch had been delivered to the store.

Home depot order online pickup in store experience
I ended up picking up my items on December 14th and the checking out process was fairly easy. So Home Depot mentioned trhough email and in the text messages that upon picking up that I should bring my ID as well as know my order number. However, the Home Depot that I went to simply asked my full name. The cashier grabbed my items and put them all in a basket for me. The Home Depot in store pick up experience was pretty delightful.
Would I recommend Home depot order online pickup in store?
I definitely would! The process is quick and you don’t have to look around the store. All of the items are already ready for you right at the pick up area. I would also say that I loved shopping in Home Depot that way because I was able to get some items on sale and find items that I wouldn’t have been able to find in the Home Depot that I regularly shop in.
