I tried Reese’s Dipped Pretzels!!

Reeses Dipped Pretzels

Reese’s Dipped Pretzels are a thing and I’m excited!

Recently while I was scrolling Facebook I saw an ad for Reese’s Dipped Pretzels. Now I don’t know about you guys, but whenever I see Facebook ads for brands I love, especially if it is food related…. I tend to always find the product and try it out for myself. So of course, I began my search for this Reese goodness. I did a search for this chocolately peanut buttery snack on the Reese’s website and I was able to find them on sale at CVS for 2 for $7. So I went ahead and bought some and I wanted to share with you guys my thoughts about the Reese’s Dipped Pretzels!

So let’s jump into this Reese’s Dipped Pretzels review!

Apparently the Reese’s Dipped Pretzels have been around for practically a year, but this is my first time seeing them. To be honest, it’s probably because I wasn’t actively looking for them. I am sure you guys know what I mean…. You don’t really pay attention to new products until you either see an advertisement or unless you are actively looking for them or if you just some how happen to come across them when “window shopping/examining” things on sale in stores.

I paid $3.99 at CVS for an 8.5 oz package of these Reese’s Dipped Pretzels.

The pretzels look exact;y how they appear on the packaging. They look like they are pretzels that are mostly covered in peanut butter with a drizzle of chocolate across them.

They smell like Reese’s which makes sense. I love the way Reese’s smell so I was happy about that.

The taste of the Reese’s Dipped Pretzels were strange.

Now upon first glance at these, I was kind of concerned about if the peanut butter would be overpowering… but surprisingly it wasn’t overpowering. They tasted different. I am not a big pretzel eater so it was a bit weird for me because you have a snack that is basically candy, but there’s a pretzel inside. The pretzel texture is probably why I say this snack is interesting. The pretzels are from the brand Snyder’s of Hanover which is a popular pretzel brand. I am assuming that the brand always has salt on their pretzels and I could definitely taste the salt within these pretzels. When I first ate these Reese’s Dipped Pretzels, I honestly didn’t like the taste.. or I should say the salt taste mixed in with the sweet. I am not a big fan of sweet mixed with salty. However, after I ate a few more of the pretzels, I noticed that I was starting to like them. It was pretty weird.

Do I recommend you buy these Reese’s Dipped Pretzels?

If you like Reese’s, buy it. If you like pretzels, peanut butter, and chocolate, buy it. If you like the mixture of sweet and salty, try it. If you’re not a pretzel lover, you probably won’t like this too much… but you never know.. it could be an acquired taste like it was for me. I personally probably wouldn’t buy them again. I honestly don’t think I’ll have a legit craving for Reese’s Dipped Pretzels, but I will always have a craving for Miniature Reese’s for sure. That’s just my take on it though.

So go ahead and try them out in stores if you’re interested in checking them out. You might like them!
